Heelwork to Music is a relatively new dog sport which is very popular with spectators. Handlers create routines which are set to music and then performed with their dog (or dogs!). There are two HTM categories - Heelwork to Music and Canine Musical Freestyle. In Heelwork to Music, the dog works at heel for the majority of the routine. Freestyle participants do less structured heelwork, interpreting their chosen music through moves and linked behaviours.
The National Dog Training Assembly Organising Committee is thrilled that there will, once again, be a Heelwork to Music competition at the NDTA. This year, the Heelwork to Music Spectacular will take place on the evening of Saturday 24th October. Further details can be found on the official schedule.
The Heelwork to Music entry form is located on the Forms page.
