My husband and I purchased our first pedigree dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi in 1974 although I had owned Pembrokes for several years before that date. In 1983, Bearded Collies were added to our kennels and in 2003 we imported our first Australian Terriers. We have bred at least 28 NZ Champions, 2 NZ Grand Champions, 7 Australian Champions, including 2 Aust. Grand Champions and 2 American Champions.

I have served on numerous committees from Breed Clubs, Group Clubs and All Breed Clubs.

Currently I am actively involved in club administration as I am the Secretary/Treasurer of Huntly & District Kennel Association and an Executive Councillor of the New Zealand Kennel Club.

I am licensed to judge 6 groups at Championship Show level, these being the following: Toy Group, Terrier Group, Hound Group, Working Group, Utility Group and the Non Sporting Group.

I have judged extensively in New Zealand, often in Australia at both All Breeds and Specialist Show level and also All Breed Shows in the USA and South Africa.

I have also judged a Regional Speciality for Bearded Collies, Siberian Huskies in the US and Canada and Specialities for Toy Dogs & Terriers in the USA and Canada and Border Terriers and West Highland White Terriers in Melbourne.

On my recent trip to Canada I judged the Mount Royal Toy Dog Fanciers and the Regional for the Siberian Husky Club of Canada. An absolute privilege.
