The NZKC now has its own official website. This development signals a new and exciting step forward for surfers and members alike. The site is envisaged to be the gateway in this country for canine related activities. For surfers it will be a source of information for specific breeds of dogs, an insight into the world of pedigree dogs, and a valuable reference tool for venues and activities where your favourite breed may be seen or shown.

We have provided a members section which enables a further level of interaction (passwords available from the NZKC). Here are some of the features available to members when logged in:

My Details
This section allows you to manage your membership account with the NZKC. You can update your contact details, add your email address and change your login password.

Show Entry Forms
Plain entry forms and Personalised entry forms are available for purchase from the NZKC at the normal price. You will be required to pay online for these forms (forms can still be purchased from the NZKC ordering and paying by post).

Pedigree Lookup
The Pedigree Lookup enables members to search the entire NZKC database for a dog and its pedigree (3-4 generations). To search you need the breed and name (or part there of) of the dog.

Forms
There are four categories of forms members can access; Online forms, Club and show forms, Judge forms and Registration and application forms. The online forms allow information to be submitted to the NZKC via the internet (for use primarily by Clubs). All other forms are downloadable in PDF form, to be sent by post to the NZKC.

Fees and Subscriptions
You are able to pay Membership and Kennel fees online. When payments for these are due, a notification to pay will be displayed in your membership area. By selecting “Pay Online” you will be directed to a secure online credit card payment page. Alternatively you can send the required fee to the NZKC to be processed.

Breeders, promote your Kennel

We have a new option for promoting your Kennel to New Zealand and across the world. Breeders are now able to purchase a Kennel Listing and a Kennel Profile Page on this website.

This site has been built to support the interests of dog lovers. It’s a very large community-participation website where visitors will be able to easily search for a breeder under the Dogs and Puppies section.

So, if you are a breeder and have registered your Kennel with the NZKC, you have two options for participation:

1. Kennel Listing

The first and cheapest option is called a Breeder Listing. It contains your kennel name, contact name and address details (including an email address if applicable). This listing is very easy to quickly activate and purchase online.

Cost: NZD$60 per annum paid in advance by credit card through this site*

2. Kennel Profile Page

The second option is called a Kennel Profile Page which can be activated once you have a Listing. A Profile Page provides a dramatically increased level of functionality; allowing up to four photos, a logo, an existing website link and unlimited text.

To activate either of these two options you will need to be a member of the NZKC and have a registered Kennel Name. By logging in (password available from the NZKC) and accessing the Kennel section of "my details", you can complete the activation process online.
