Welcome, first let me introduce our selves Chrissy and
Graham Langford, we first became interested in the breed in 1985. One of our first dogs, Davel, featured in the Champ add as Swim Champ. Since then we have either bred or purchased some of the best breeding stock in the country. We now share our home with 8 Bernese as we do not believe in rehoming any of our retired stock. They are all part of the family as you will see when you visit us.
We are situated on a 10 acre lifestle block in Taupo which is in the Central North Island. Our dogs have free access to the house at all times as they love to be in the the company of humans.
We also welcome you to our home to look at our family.
We are committed to breeding sound dogs of excellent type and temperament. Hence all our stock is hip and elbow scored and now eye tested,.and we like our grandchildren to help with the puppies, so they are used to children.
Our puppies are all microchipped, Given their first vaccination, registered to thier new owners, we suply a book with photo's of your puppy, mum and dad with a guide to feeding and raising, we are always here to help if you need us .

Our Breeding Dogs are all scored in New Zealand by the NZVA.
We sold Linda and Chris from Schallenberg thier foundation Bitch Ch Brienz Altich Ice Maiden ( Vevey) she has had 3 Lovely Litters. and they are very happy with her. Andy is Moik's son,and he is already following in his father's footsteps in the show ring, taking Puppy of Group at the first two Championship shows he entered and Puppy on Parade at his first Ribbon Parade.
At the Central North Island Utility and Non Sporting Championship Show he won Best Puppy in Show. He was just 11 months. At the 2007 BMD Club inc. Ribbon Show he took Best Puppy on Parade and Best on Parade.He was awarded his eighth challenge on the 8 April 2007 for his Champioship Certifcate.

Below is some information about his sire CH Nordic ZinZan
Moik came to us from the Nordic Kennel. His acheivements, in and out of the ring to date, have been unequalled. Best Intermediate in Show at the NATIONAL DOG SHOW 2000. Also his love of obedience has seen him excel at carting, being able to work off lead while giving childrens rides is a sight to behold. He was recently used in an add for a Swiss Milk product. The photos of him in the scrap book were taken on location in the South Island.
He was awarded the Bernese Mountain Dog Club Top Dog Trophy in 1999, 2000 and 2003. At the Bernese Mountain Dog Club's first Open Show in 2003 with a large entry of 68 dogs he earned Best In Show.
He has sired several Champions both in the North Island and the South Island.

 She is the result of an out cross to a pure Swiss dog. She has inherited all of Nina's (Brienz Gelassen Sonnenblume) attributes. Like movment, structure and temperament. Her overal appearance is of compact, true 9/10 proportions. She is great with people in general but has a fond relationship with our grandchildren.
She achieved her championship status by the time she was seventeen months. She was hip and elbow scored at 22 months of age, under the NZVA scheme and is our first dog to attain a 0 score for the hips her scores are:- Hips left 0 and right 2 and Elbows are Left 1a and right B

She comes from a predominantly Swedish background and already she is showing her worth in the show ring. She has taken 2 Best on Parades a Best of Group and been placed in a Puppy Stakes Class.
Enya attained her Champion at sixteen months
Her biggest acheivement is Best Baby Puppy in Show at the Bernese Mountain Dog Open Show
She has one of the nicest dispositions I have ever come across, excellent movement and is well boned. .
We have had her hips and elbows scored by the NZVA and the results are in.
