My passion for the Bernese Mountain Dog began in 1993 with the purchase of my most special Berner, "Otis" (CH Amblnon Cotillion), and since then we have welcomed eight imports into our family.
My aim is to never compromise on temperament and to maintain the original draft qualities, and soundness of this beautiful working breed.
Our pups are raised in the home, and our adult dogs enjoy the freedom of 14 acres, situated beneath Mt Egmont.
All pups are registered to their new owners, immunized, microchipped, insured & come with a comprehensive guide to raising and care, full pictorial pedigree history and a lifetime of breeder support.
All companion pups are sold with a non-breeding endorsement on their NZKC registration. This means we do not sell breeding stock, and we request that all companion pups are neutered / spayed by 12 months old. I firmly believe only the best should ever be bred from in order to maintain the quality and integrity of this glorious breed.

 A super dog with an unequalled temperament, Turi was a proven sire in both Nth America and Australasia, producing Group and In Show winners on both sides of the Tasman and CHs in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa. He was truly a once in a lifetime dog and I am thankful for the opportunity to own him since the day he arrived in NZ.
He remains NZ's first, and only Swiss Bred Bernese Mountain Dog.
Australasia's only quadruple CH titled Bernese.
Sire of over 150 offspring.
H: GDC Excellent, E: 0-0, Eyes Clear.
Turi won CC Dog at the Sydney Royal Show - Easter 2004 at 6½ years old.
Turi spent 5 months in Australia with Emma Copp of Zollikon BMDs where he was unbeaten in the Dog Challenge line up to achieve his Australian title.

TURI WON BEST IN SHOW from the Veteran Class at the BMD Club CH Show in March 2006 under AKC Specialist Judge Mary Alice Eschweiler. His grandaughter "Tessie" (Anahera Cat's Pyjamas) won CC Bitch & RU Best In Show.
He then won BEST IN SHOW from the Veteran class again at the BMDC CH Show in 2007 at one month shy of 10 years old.
An unforgetable moment for many of his friends and fans watching!
Turi would easily be the most highly credentialed Bernese stud dog in Australasia, and was proof that Bernese keep getting better with age!
Turi was irreplacable as a foundation sire for Anahera and all of my current Anahera bred Berners have him in their pedigree.
His contribution to the breed in our country is unequalled.
More than anything I miss his sterling character, vibrant personality and energy he aded to our lives. He provided me with a benchmark of what a great Bernese could achieve.

 Viggo is my 8th Berner import and he joins us from Tron & Solvi at Hvalberners in Sandefjord, Norway.
He has fit into our Berner family perfectly and loves any and all people and dogs he meets! His super outgoing temperament and unbelieveable confidence are things I prize very highly in a hopeful future stud dog!
Viggo's pedigree is jampacked with excellent quality Berners representing the best of Scandanavian and European pedigrees. My thanks to Tron & Solvi for sending this little treasure so far away, and to Astrid Hennum, owner and breeder of Viggo's sire Nor/Swe/Fin & Nordic CH Odin 4 Av Hennumkroken for enabling me to have an Odin son!

 Originally the smallest pup in a litter of 14 Hudson has matured into a superb & typey young adult, with his sire's super temperament and character and his dam's gentle nature. You could not hope to meet a sweeter dog! His loving gaze would melt the coldest heart! His gentle nature means he can be run safely with his sire "Turi" or with "Hans" with no risk of hot tempers!
A consistent Group and In Show winner, he has surpassed everything I had hoped for from this combination. Hudson sired his first litter of 11 puppies and I look forward to including him in my own breeding programme in the near future.

Hudson is the Bernese Winner of the 2002-2003 PEDIGREE Award based on Best of Breed awards amassed in the year. Congratulations Huddy!!
Equally as exciting, Hudson's littersister "Dorli" was the highest placing bitch in the Pedigree Awards Top Ten for Bernese!
